Katherine Baker
Katherine Baker is the president and founder of Baker Architecture. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ball State University and relocated to San Diego in 1995. She began working for two small architecture firms, gaining experience in a wide range of project types, from commercial tenant improvements, restaurants, ground up construction, mixed-use and downtown redevelopment. Katherine obtained her California architecture license in 2001 and started Baker Architecture in 2005, working on both commercial and residential projects. In 2012 she increased the size of her firm. Baker Architecture continues to thrive, with primary focuses in restaurants, retail and accessibility upgrades. In her free time, Katherine enjoys yoga, reading and travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures, as well as spending time with her family.
Tony D. Kerleshi
Tony D. Kerleshi joined Baker Architecture in January of 2013 as a project manager. Previously, he attended the New School of Architecture and Design where his love for architecture has driven him to pursue his California architects license. Prior to joining Baker Architecture, he worked for Studio C Architects, where he developed his skills in commercial architecture & MEP design. Tony’s experience has been focused on restaurants, retail, offices designs and many other commercial/industrial projects. He has honed his skills as project manager by listening to clients, being open-minded and understanding client’s needs and budgets, which results in successful projects. He has great relationships with his co-workers and colleagues. Outside the office you will find him playing in outdoor parks or walking on the beach with his children, or working in the fruit/vegetable garden at home. He has a great passion for traveling, learning about other cultures/languages & loves the history channel.
Ronnie Rollman
Ronnie Rollman joined Baker Architecture in January of 2013 as a project manager. He received an associate’s degree from ITT Technical Institute in 1997 and immediately went to work for a local architect developing cell sites for all the major carriers in San Diego and Orange Counties. Wanting to gain more experience in architecture, he went to work for another local architect doing residential additions & ground up commercial developments along with retail, office and food service tenant improvements including Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing design. Over the years he has developed his skills in Disabled Access and became CASp Certified in December of 2017. Ronnie spends a lot of his free time with his wife skiing, motocross, surfing and admiring their daughter in hunter/jumper equestrian competitions.
Andrew Steakley
Andrew is the office manager and ensures that the daily operations run smoothly at Baker Architecture. He maintains all financial matters such as client billing, accounts payable, payroll and banking. He joined Baker Architecture in 2014 and since has developed his 3D modeling and rendering skills. He enjoys developing designs to illustrate scales and proportions to aid the client during the design process.Andrew is originally from Atlanta and moved to San Diego in 2009. He spends his free time traveling, playing soccer, and on his wife’s list of house projects.
